Installation Dinner tickets are ON SALE now. 

Our annual Crab Feed usually sells out well before the event, so act NOW and purchase your tickets today.  This year's event will take place on Saturday January 7th and tickets are $35 per person.  For tickets, send an email to Treasurer@tracyflyfishers.org

December 7: Board Meeting at Safeway Community Room... all members welcome.  Meeting is called to order at 7 pm.

Note:  Casting instructions at Dr. Powers Park will return next year with the return to Daylight Savings time.

December 21: Club Meeting at the Tracy Transit Station.  Meeting starts at 7 pm sharp!  Our guest speaker this month is YOU.  The annual meeting of the membership features trips taken by our members.  If you would like to share your memories with the club, contact our President or Vice President.

November 16: Club Meeting at the Tracy Transit Station.  Meeting starts at 7 pm sharp!  Our guest speaker this month is John Squires and his presentation will tell you how to plan your own affordable fishing trip to the Alaskan wilderness.

October 19: Club Meeting at the Tracy Transit Station.  Meeting starts at 7 pm sharp!  This month's meeting will feature guest speaker Dave Lentz and California's Heritage Trout Program.  Dave is a Fisheries Biologist working for the CA DFG as the Native Trout Conservation Coordinator.  For more info on Dave's presentation, open the TFF Events Calendar for the club meeting date.

September 14: Casting Instructions at Dr. Powers Park

September 21: Club Meeting at the Tracy Transit Station.  Meeting starts at 7 pm sharp!  This month's meeting will feature guest speaker Mark Wong and Surf Perch Fishing.  Mark took up the saltwater angling sport not long after graduating from one of Ken Hanley's Surf Zone clinics in the early 1990's.  Mark brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the fly fishing community.  In his years of plying the surf along the Bay Area's sandy coastline, he has caught and released a variety of saltwater game fish species using a wide assortment of fly fishing gear and techniques.  For more info on Mark's presentation, open the TFF Events Calendar for the club meeting date.

August 10: Casting Instructions at Dr. Powers Park

August 17: Club Meeting at the Tracy Transit Station.  Meeting starts at 7 pm sharp!  This month's meeting will feature guest speaker Robert Tamson and Saltwater Fly Fishing in South Texas.  Robert will share with us hints on how to fish for Redfish, Sea Trout, Tarpon and Snook and other fish found in South Texas without the need of hiring a guide.  Check out Robert's bio by opening the TFF Events Calendar for the club meeting date.

July 20: Club Meeting at the Tracy Transit Station.  Conservation Night is the agenda... Recycle... Reduce... Reuse...  Come see flies tied with recycled materials, learn conservation practices that you can use at home and enjoy eating some popcorn while watching the movie "River of Life".  Meeting starts at 7 pm sharp!

June 24 - 26: TFF Club Outing at Davis Lake.  Click here for campground reservations.  We will be camping at the Lightning Tree campground this year as the Grasshopper and Grizzly campgrounds are closed for the installation of a new water system.

May 4: Board Meeting at Safeway Community Room... all members welcome.  Meeting is called to order at 7 pm.

May 11: Fly Casting Instructions at Dr. Powers Park (lawn area between the swimming pool and picnic area).  Instruction is provided by our very own FFF Certified Casting Instructor Chuck Robbins and is open to everyone (TFF Membership not required).  Chuck will be there from 6 pm to dusk (when the park closes).

May 18: Club Meeting 7 pm @ Tracy Transit Station featuring guest Speaker Steve Cooper of High Plains Drifters.  Join Steve on a journey to the Owyhee River located in Eastern Oregon.  This blue ribbon fishery offers anglers unique opportunities to stalk wild Brown Trout with a back drop of stunning high desert scenery.  The program includes a gallery of photos compiled from Steve's numerous trips to this remote, scenic river. Learn the secrets to angling on this reliable year round fishery that consistently produces Brown Trout exceeding 20 inches.  Possibly the West's best kept secret.

May 21: Members Only Club Outing at Kistler Bass Ranch.

~ April ~

April 6: Board Meeting at Safeway Community Room... all members welcome.  Meeting is called to order at 7 pm.

April 20: Club Meeting featuring guest speaker Ken Hanley.  Pre-meeting dinner @ 5 p.m. will be held at the Thai Cafe just across the street from the Transit Station.  Ken's presentation will be on "Mexico's Largemouth Bass Fiesta!"  In Ken's words... This is the perfect getaway for some excellent fishing, great accommodations and wonderful food. The show will cover locations, seasons, tackle, and some tactics.

April 23: TFF's first outing of the season was originally scheduled to take place at White Pine Lake (near Arnold) and while the official trout opener is the following Saturday (April 30th), we're getting a head start on the season at Shadow Cliffs in Pleasanton.

April 30: Breakfast at the Banta Inn @ 9 am... all members welcome... guests too!

~ March ~

March 2: Board Meeting at Safeway Community Room.

March 16: Club Meeting featuring guest speaker Bob Alexander of Rainbow Bend Guides and Outfitters.  Bob's presentation will be on fishing Streamers for Trout and Steelhead.  Bob's home water is the Lower Deschutes in Central Oregon.

March 26: Breakfast at the Banta Inn @ 9 am... all members welcome... guests too!

~ FEBRUARY ~

February 2: Board Meeting at Safeway Community Room.

February 16: Club Meeting featuring guest speaker Mike Rieser of Baja Fly Fishing.  Pre-meeting dinner at 5 p.m. will be held at the Thai Cafe just across the street from the Transit Station.  Mike's presentation will be fly fishing the East Cape of Baja.

February 25 - 27: The Fly Fishing Show in Pleasanton at the Alameda County Fairgrounds.

~ JANUARY ~

The Crab feed is January 8th

Our annual crab feed is the second Saturday in January. We've great got a line up of auction items and raffle prizes and its a great time to catch up with your fellow members.  We'll see you there.
